The JP KS MV001 is fitted to the F4RC LH 1000 when the machine stops being ridden on roads and the key stops being something worth carrying.

The Lewis Hamilton Edition
A limited run with its own livery on the RC underneath. Whatever the paint, the yoke and the ignition arrangement are the same as any other F4 of that generation.
No Key at All
The bike is armed and killed by a button rather than by turning something. There is nothing to lose in a paddock and nothing to carry in a set of leathers.
The Colours
Black as standard, with blue, red and titanium anodising on the numbers that offer them. The finish is the only choice to make.
How the Engine Is Killed
The button breaks the ignition circuit exactly as turning the key to off did. Nothing about the way the engine stops changes.
Not a Road Modification
A registered motorcycle needs its lock and usually its immobiliser. This is a part for machines used on circuits.
Regulations Vary
Some series require a specific stop control position or a lanyard. Nothing here prevents that, but it is worth confirming before the machine reaches scrutineering.
The Button's Feel
Positive, sealed and usable in gloves. It is the one part of the design a rider actually interacts with, which is why the switch is the expensive component.
What Happens Electrically
The button opens and closes the same circuit the key did. The engine controller sees no difference and nothing is simulated.
Transport
A machine in a van with no ignition lock cannot be started by somebody leaning over the tailgate. It also cannot be locked, which cuts both ways.
What Actually Leaves the Motorcycle
A steel lock barrel, its tumblers, a mounting bracket, a switch pack and the key. Three hundred and fifty grams by the manufacturer's figure, all of it sitting above the fork crown where a motorcycle is least willing to carry weight.
