Eine Panigale V2 ohne Verkleidung
Ducati hat die Verkleidung abgenommen, den Lenker höher gesetzt und den vom Superquadro abgeleiteten Zweizylinder mit 955 cm³ behalten. Es ist die alltagstauglichste Streetfighter, die das Unternehmen gebaut hat.
Kein Wartungsintervall
Nichts in Ducatis Wartungsplan sieht vor, die Aktivkohle zu prüfen oder zu ersetzen. Sie arbeitet einige Jahre und hört dann still auf, ohne jede Vorwarnung.
Rückbaubar
Behälter, Halter und Schläuche lassen sich alle an ihren ursprünglichen Positionen wieder montieren, sodass sich einer Prüfung oder einem Verkauf mit wiederhergestelltem Serienzustand begegnen lässt.
Scheuerstellen an einer Reiseenduro
Leitungen, die hinter dem Motor verlaufen, scheuern auf schlechten Wegen an Haltern, und ein aufgeplatzter Dampfschlauch bedeutet Benzingeruch und einen Fehlercode an einem ungünstigen Ort.
Nichts im Wartungsplan
Ducati schreibt für die Aktivkohle keine Inspektion, kein Austauschintervall und keine Prüfung vor. Sie wird eingebaut, arbeitet einige Jahre und hört dann auf.
Die Dampfmenge wächst mit dem Tank
Ein Zwanzig-Liter-Tank in der Sonne erzeugt erheblich mehr als einer mit fünfzehn Litern, und der Aktivkohlefilter ist bei beiden gleich groß. Die Tourenmodelle erreichen die Sättigung früher.
Ein Vermerk im Serviceheft
Eine Zeile. Sie verhindert, dass jemand anderes ein System zur Begrenzung der Verdunstungsemissionen diagnostiziert, das seit drei Jahren nicht mehr am Motorrad ist.
Rückbaubar, wenn die Teile aufbewahrt werden
Nichts wird abgeschnitten, und jedes Originalteil wird mit seinen eigenen Befestigungsteilen wieder montiert. Erst wenn Aktivkohlefilter, Ventil und Schläuche gemeinsam in einem Beutel aufbewahrt werden, wird eine Prüfung oder ein Weiterverkauf zur einfachen Sache statt zu einer teuren Jagd nach Gebrauchtteilen.
Füllstand und Entlüftung
Ein Tank, der nicht atmen kann, baut beim Leeren Unterdruck auf, und das Symptom ist ein Motor, der nach vierzig Minuten verhungert und tadellos läuft, sobald der Tankdeckel einen Spalt geöffnet wird. Wer diesem Fehler nachjagt, hat selten die Entlüftung im Verdacht, und deshalb ist der mitgelieferte Anschluss des Kits wichtiger, als er aussieht.
