Der JP ACCGP TR039 passt auf die Street Triple 765 S und verkürzt den Drehwinkel des elektronischen Gasgriffs auf nur 60 Grad. Triumphs Einstieg in die Street-Triple-Reihe behält dabei Kennlinie und Sensorik des Ride-by-Wire-Systems unverändert, nur der mechanische Weg bis zum Vollgas wird kürzer.

Die einfachere Street Triple
Die S-Version verzichtet gegenüber R und RS auf das schärfere Fahrwerk und bietet eine geradlinigere, straßentaugliche Abstimmung, von der auch die Gasannahme profitiert, statt zusätzliche Komplexität zu brauchen. Ein kürzerer Weg passt zu einem Motorrad, das zügiges Fahren leicht machen soll, ohne viel vom Fahrer zu verlangen.
Ein kürzerer mechanischer Weg
Dieses Bauteil deckt denselben Öffnungsbereich wie das Serienteil ab, jedoch mit deutlich weniger Drehung. Die Verkürzung entsteht durch den inneren Mechanismus des Gasgriffs selbst, nicht durch eine Änderung des elektronischen Signals, das er erzeugt. Kalibrierung und Signalverlauf des Sensors bleiben dabei vollständig auf Werksstand.
Aus einem Stück gefräst
Statt eines gegossenen oder spritzgegossenen Gehäuses wird das Bauteil aus einem vollen Block Ergal-7075-Aluminium gefräst. Diese Bauweise hält die Lagerflächen und die Federaufnahme im Inneren gleichmäßig, ohne Naht, die sich wie bei einem zweiteiligen Gehäuse mit der Zeit lockern könnte.
Ein Triple, der genutzt werden will
Triumphs 765er-Dreizylinder zieht schon aus niedrigen Drehzahlen sauber durch, belohnt aber den Einsatz in höheren Drehzahlbereichen, und wie schnell ein Fahrer diesen oberen Bereich abrufen kann, hängt auch davon ab, wie weit der Gasgriff dafür drehen muss. Weniger Drehung verkürzt diesen Abstand.
Das Cockpit bleibt, wie es war
Der Einbau des neuen Teils verschiebt oder ersetzt den Schalterblock der Street Triple nicht, sodass Blinker-, Hupe- und Modustasten exakt dort bleiben, wo der Daumen sie gewohnt ist. Nur der Griff und der Mechanismus dahinter ändern sich. Für die gewohnte Handhabung im Alltag macht der Tausch damit keinen Unterschied.
Ein kurzes Anlernen nach dem Einbau
Der übliche letzte Schritt nach der Montage ist ein Anlernen der Drosselklappenposition über die Diagnoseschnittstelle, das die Referenz des Steuergeräts auf das neue Teil setzt. Das ist Routinearbeit, erledigt in einem kurzen Werkstattbesuch. Die Einspritzkennfelder bleiben von diesem Schritt vollständig unberührt.
