Am MV Agusta Brutale Dragster 800 (2018–2022) verkürzt der JP ACCGP MV002 den Drehwinkel auf sechzig Grad und bringt eine progressive Rückholfeder mit, die der Serien-Griff nie hatte, während die muskulöse, aufrechte Sitzhaltung des Flat-Seat-Naked genau so bleibt, wie MV Agusta sie gebaut hat, ohne dass sich an der Einspritzung hinter dem neuen Bauteil etwas ändert.

Eine Sitzhaltung, die Zuversicht ausstrahlt
Der flache Sitz und der breite Lenker der Dragster 800 bringen den Fahrer in eine aufrechte, selbstbewusste Position, die eher zu schnellen, entschlossenen Gasbefehlen einlädt als zu zögerlichen. Ein kürzerer Drehweg passt zu dieser Haltung: Die Hand erreicht die volle Öffnung früher, und der Triple antwortet genauso schnell, wie es das Fahrwerk zu verlangen scheint.
Eine Feder, die progressiv entgegenwirkt
Während der serienmäßige Griff einfach in den Leerlauf zurückfedert, bringt dieser eine progressive Rückholfeder mit, die mit zunehmender Öffnung stärker entgegenwirkt und so ein Gefühl dafür gibt, wo sich die Hand innerhalb des Drehwegs befindet, statt eines gleichmäßigen Widerstands über den gesamten Bereich.
Kompatibel mit den vorhandenen Schaltern
Hupe, Blinker und Fahrmodus-Taster am Lenker der Dragster bleiben genau dort, wo MV Agusta sie platziert hat, denn der neue Gasgriffkörper wird auf die serienmäßige Klemmung geschraubt, ohne dass etwas versetzt oder neu verkabelt werden muss, bevor es wieder auf die Straße geht.
Ein Diagnoseschritt vor der ersten Ausfahrt
Die Ride-by-Wire-Steuerung muss nach der Montage des neuen Griffs den Bereich des Drosselklappensensors neu erlernen – ein kurzer Vorgang, den Werkstätten mit Erfahrung an MV-Agusta-Elektronik meist erledigen, bevor das Motorrad die Werkstatt in Richtung Straße wieder verlässt und der Leerlauf sauber steht.
Wo die Ermüdung bei der Dragster entsteht
Ein Naked Bike mit so breitem Lenker verlangt einiges an Armstreckung, und auf einer langen Fahrt ist oft genau der letzte Teil des serienmäßigen Drehwegs die Stelle, an der Fahrer zuerst merken, dass ihr Handgelenk müde wird, lange bevor der Tank leer ist.
Nichts Endgültiges am Umbau
Der werkseitige Gasgriff lässt sich jederzeit ohne Spuren wieder montieren, sodass das Testen des kürzeren Drehwegs an der Dragster keine endgültige Entscheidung bedeutet, bevor ein Besitzer wirklich ausreichend Zeit hatte, ihn über mehrere lange Ausfahrten hinweg in aller Ruhe zu beurteilen.
