Die EVO ergänzt das ohnehin scharfe Fahrwerk der Superduke R um semiaktive WP-Federung, und der JP ACCGP KT016 zieht am Gasgriff mit. Für die 1290 Superduke R EVO (2020-2023) verkürzt er den Drehweg auf 60 Grad, damit die Handeingabe mit einem Fahrwerk Schritt hält, das sich schon mitten in der Kurve selbst nachjustiert.

Ein Fahrwerk, das schneller reagiert als die Hand
Die semiaktive Dämpfung der EVO liest die Straße und stellt sich mehrfach pro Sekunde neu ein, was die Anforderung an jede andere Eingabe am Motorrad erhöht. Ein Griff mit langem, unscharfem Drehweg ist dabei das schwächste Glied; der kürzere Weg schließt die Lücke zwischen dem, was das Fahrwerk kann, und dem, was die Hand verlangt.
Gefräst statt gegossen, immer gleich
Aus massivem Ergal 7075 gefräst statt gegossen, hält das Gehäuse von der ersten bis zur letzten Einheit dieselben inneren Toleranzen. Bei einem Motorrad, dessen Elektronik Straßenunebenheiten schon ausgleicht, nimmt ein immer gleich arbeitender Griff eine weitere Unbekannte aus dem schnellen Kurvenausgang.
Vorspannung für semiaktives Fahren
Die Vorspannung der progressiven Feder lässt sich von außen in drei Stufen setzen, was bei der EVO sinnvoll ist, da Comfort- und Sport-Fahrwerkseinstellung das Verhalten des Chassis bereits verändern. Wer den Widerstand des Griffs daran anpasst, behält unabhängig vom Dämpfermodus ein gleichbleibendes Handgefühl.
Wo die EVO am härtesten gefordert wird
Wer sich für die EVO statt die Standard-R entscheidet, sucht meist ein schärferes Werkzeug für schnelle, technische Straßen und nicht die reine Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Genau dort zahlt sich ein kürzerer Drehweg aus, denn feines Dosieren durch eine Serie verbundener Kurven zählt dort mehr als auf der Geraden.
Die 60-Grad-Drehung in der Praxis
Die Verkürzung des Serienwinkels auf 60 Grad bedeutet, dass Vollgas mit deutlich weniger Handbewegung erreicht wird, was den Griff am Lenker beim Kurvenausgang konstanter hält, statt sich mit der Drehung des Handgelenks zu verschieben. Dieser Unterschied ist leicht zu unterschätzen, bis man beide direkt vergleicht.
Zurück zum Original ohne Spur
Wechselt das Motorrad den Besitzer oder steht eine Garantiearbeit an, passt die Original-Drosselklappe wieder genau in die Halterung, die dieses Bauteil belegt. Der einzige zusätzliche Schritt ist das Anlernen der Drosselklappenposition, ein Routinepunkt bei jedem Griffwechsel an dieser Plattform. Diese Sicherheit zählt mehr, als die meisten Fahrer vorher denken.
