Für die späteren Motorräder
Ducati änderte die Gasgriffbaugruppe mit der Überarbeitung von 2025. Dieses Teil passt auf diese Maschinen; alles aus der vorherigen Generation benötigt stattdessen das Gehäuse DU020S.
Gehäuse und Schalter zusammen
Die rechte Bedieneinheit ist in das Gasgriffgehäuse eingebaut, sodass der Austausch des einen den Austausch beider bedeutet. Diese Einheit deckt beides aus einem gefrästen Körper ab.
Öhlins, aktualisiert
Die aktuelle S trägt ein überarbeitetes semiaktives System, das eine leistungsfähigere Inertialplattform ausliest. Bei einem Naked Bike mit dieser Leistung und diesem Radstand hört die Dämpfung nie auf zu arbeiten.
Versiegelte Elemente
Kontakte, eingeschlossen im gefrästen Gehäuse. Bei einer Streetfighter gibt es nichts, das den Lenker schützt, und hier keine Gussnaht, die das Wetter ausnutzen könnte.
Eine gefräste Gasgriffbohrung
Das Rohr dreht sich in einer gefrästen statt einer geformten Bohrung, was die Werte über Jahre statt nur Monate konsistent hält.
Schwarze Eloxierung
In das Metall umgewandelt. Gegen goldene Federelemente und dunkle Verkleidung ist es die Oberfläche, die den Lenker aus dem Bild hält.
Aus dem Vollen gefräst
Ergal 7075 mit etwa der doppelten Festigkeit gewöhnlichen Frästeile-Aluminiums. Schwerer zu bearbeiten und an der Klemmstelle deutlich langlebiger.
Ein weniger steifes Chassis
Ducati reduzierte die Seitensteifigkeit im neuen Rahmen absichtlich, nachdem Renneinsätze gezeigt hatten, dass etwas Flex das Gefühl bei extremer Schräglage verbessert. Das ist das Gegenteil dessen, was drei Jahrzehnte Fahrwerksentwicklung angenommen hatten.
Originalstecker
Vorverkabelt an Ducatis Stecker, sodass der Tausch rein mechanisch ist und sich ebenso leicht rückgängig machen lässt, wie er vorgenommen wurde.
Ein Naked Bike mit Abtrieb
Die aktuelle Streetfighter trägt verfeinerte Doppeldecker-Winglets, weil bei den Geschwindigkeiten, die dieser Motor erreicht, sonst nichts das Vorderrad unten hält. Bei einem Motorrad ohne Verkleidung ist das ein wirklich unbequemes technisches Problem, und die Lösung ist schon von einem Parkplatz aus zu erkennen.
