Geformt für einen einteiligen Lenker
Die Tuono nutzt einen breiten Lenker statt Stummellenker, was den Austrittswinkel der Kabel aus der Gasgriffbaugruppe verändert. Ein dafür profiliertes Gehäuse führt sie sauber, wo ein für die Geometrie der RS 660 ausgelegter Körper das nicht tut.
Die praktische 660er
Aufrechte Lenkerposition, eine etwas sanftere Abstimmung und keine Verkleidung. Die Tuono ist die Variante, mit der die meisten Besitzer besser bedient wären, und eine erhebliche Anzahl von ihnen kauft trotzdem die RS, weil sie wie ein Sportmotorrad aussieht.
Tempomat als Serienausstattung
Bei einem 95-PS-Mittelklasse-Naked ist das ungewöhnlich, und es ist einer von mehreren Punkten, bei denen Aprilia über der Klasse ausgestattet hat. Die Bedienung dafür und für die Fahrmodi wird bei einem für echte Fahrten genutzten Motorrad ständig betätigt.
Der Schalter sitzt innen
Aprilia baut die rechten Bedienelemente in das Gasgriffgehäuse ein, sodass ein verschlissener Kontakt die komplette Baugruppe betrifft. Diese Einheit ersetzt beides aus einem einzigen Block und nutzt den originalen Anschluss des Motorrads.
Nichts hält irgendetwas ab
Eine symbolische Scheibe und keine Verkleidung. Regen erreicht die Bedienelemente bei Fahrgeschwindigkeit und bleibt dort, und ein Gussteil mit aufgestecktem Kunststoffdeckel hat eine Fuge genau dort, wo es darauf ankommt.
Vier Ausführungen
Schwarz, Blau, Rot und Titanfarben, durch die Oberfläche eloxiert. Im Vergleich zu den eigenen Farben der Tuono ist Rot an der Verkleidung bereits vorhanden und wirkt eher als Fortsetzung denn als Zusatz.
Aus einem Block gefräst
Mit abgedichteten Schalterelementen im Inneren. Die Bohrung, in der das Gasgriffrohr läuft, ist gefräst statt gegossen, was den Positionssensor über Jahre normaler Nutzung konstant arbeiten lässt.
