Das MT-Profil
Geformt für den breiten Lenker der Multistrada und ihren vollen Lenkeinschlag statt für eine allgemeine Passform. Es ist die Version, die die Seilzüge auch bei voll eingeschlagenem Lenker bequem lässt.
Skyhook-Fahrwerk
Die S trägt Ducatis semiaktives System, das die Dämpfung kontinuierlich anpasst und das Motorrad entsprechend der Beladung ausgleicht. Bei einem Reisemotorrad ist das mehr wert als jede Leistungsangabe.
Kurvenlicht
LED-Einheiten, die sich stufenweise mit der Schräglage zuschalten. Niemand verlangt danach, und jeder weiß es zu schätzen, sobald er es das erste Mal auf einer unbeleuchteten Straße bei Nacht nutzt.
Nur das Gehäuse
Der Schalterblock wird von diesem Teil nicht angetastet. Es ersetzt die Gasgriffeinheit, die vernünftige Anschaffung, wenn die Elektrik gesund ist.
Lange Tage, eine Position
Ein Reisefahrer hält eine Gasgriffstellung über Stunden statt sie ständig zu verändern. Ein Gehäuse mit runder Bohrung macht das stabil und deutlich weniger anstrengend.

Schwarz eloxiert, in das Aluminium eingebracht. Sie überlebt Salz und Schotter, denen ein Reisemotorrad begegnet, wie es keine Beschichtung tut.
Ergal 7075
Luftfahrtqualität mit etwa der doppelten Festigkeit gewöhnlicher gefräster Legierungen. Bei einem hohen, schweren Motorrad, das irgendwann umfällt, ist es das richtige Material.
Beladen und zu zweit
Die semiaktive Dämpfung gleicht Beifahrer und Gepäck automatisch aus, was bei einem Motorrad, das regelmäßig beides trägt, eine Einstellungsaufgabe vor jeder Abfahrt erspart.
Ducatis erfolgreichste Idee
Die Multistrada ist seit Jahren das kommerziell wichtigste Modell des Herstellers, weshalb es die V2 überhaupt gibt. Nicht jeder will oder braucht die V4 darüber.
