Semiaktives Skyhook-Fahrwerk
Die S trägt Ducatis elektronisch geregeltes Fahrwerk, das die Dämpfung kontinuierlich anpasst und das Motorrad entsprechend der Beladung ausnivelliert. Bei einem Reisemotorrad ist das mehr wert als jede Leistungssteigerung.
Kurvenlicht
Die S ergänzt LED-Einheiten, die sich mit zunehmender Schräglage progressiv zuschalten. Das ist ein Feature, das niemand verlangt und das jeder schätzt, sobald er es das erste Mal auf einer unbeleuchteten Straße erlebt.
Der 937er Testastretta
Hundertdreizehn PS und 30.000-Kilometer-Wartungsintervalle. Ducati baute diesen Motor, um ihn über die Modellpalette zu teilen, und er trägt seit Jahren die halbe Modellreihe.
Nur das Gasgriffgehäuse
Der Schalterblock bleibt, wo er ist. Dieses Teil deckt die Gasgriffeinheit ab, was der sinnvolle Kauf ist, wenn elektrisch nichts ersetzt werden muss.
Stunden in einer Position
Reisen bedeutet, eine Gasgriffstellung über lange Zeit zu halten, statt sie ständig zu verändern. Ein Gehäuse mit präziser Bohrung macht diese Position stabil und über einen langen Tag deutlich weniger anstrengend.
Schwarze Eloxierung
In das Metall umgewandelt. Reisemotorräder begegnen Salz, Regen und Schotter, von denen keines einer beschichteten Oberfläche mit Respekt gegenübertritt.
Aus dem Vollen gefräst
Ergal 7075 mit etwa der doppelten Streckgrenze gewöhnlichen gefrästen Aluminiums. Es hält seine Klemmfläche dauerhaft an einem Lenker, der bei jeder Kurve beladungsbedingtes Gewicht trägt.
Varianten bei der Sitzhöhe
Ducati bot die V2 S auch in einer tieferen Ausführung mit kürzerem Fahrwerk und anderer Sitzbank an. Das ist der Grund, warum viele Fahrer, die vorher keine Multistrada bewältigen konnten, heute eine besitzen.
