Die eingravierte Fläche
JetPrime schneidet hier seinen Namen in die eloxierte Oberfläche. Ansonsten ist es derselbe Korpus wie die unmarkierte Version, und sie wird angeboten, weil Besitzer unterschiedlicher Meinung sind, welche besser aussieht.
Die Enduro-Variante
Ducati baute auf dieser Plattform eine Multistrada 1200 Enduro mit dreißig Litern Tankinhalt, einem neunzehn Zoll großen Vorderrad und Speichenfelgen. Es ist das wirklich geländetauglichste Adventure-Motorrad, das der Hersteller gebaut hat.
Testastretta DVT
Beide Nockenwellen verstellen sich kontinuierlich gegenüber der Kurbelwelle, weshalb ein 160-PS-Motor auch höflich im Leerlauf läuft. Ducati führte das System mit diesem Motorrad ein.
Nur die Gasgriffbaugruppe
Der Schalterblock bleibt an Ort und Stelle. Dieses Teil deckt allein das Gehäuse ab, was die meisten Besitzer tatsächlich wollen.
Stunden in einer Position
Touring bedeutet, eine Öffnungsstellung zu halten, statt sich ständig zu bewegen. Eine maßhaltige Bohrung hält das stabil und macht einen langen Tag am Handgelenk deutlich weniger ermüdend.
Schwarze Eloxierung
In das Metall umgewandelt. Adventure-Motorräder begegnen Salz, Schotter und Regen, und nichts davon behandelt eine beschichtete Oberfläche mit Rücksicht.
Aus dem Vollen gefräst
Ergal 7075 mit etwa der doppelten Streckgrenze eines gewöhnlichen gefrästen Aluminiums. Bei einem hohen, mit Gepäck beladenen Motorrad nimmt der Lenker bei einem Sturz echte Last auf.
Überall semiaktiv
Ducati verbreitete elektronisches Fahrwerk schneller über die Multistrada-Baureihe als jeder Konkurrent, und die Technik dieser Generation wirkt auch ein Jahrzehnt später noch zeitgemäß.
Ein Zeichen, das bleibt
Die Gravur ist in die Eloxalschicht geschnitten statt darüber aufgetragen, sodass sie alles überlebt, was das Bauteil überlebt. Nichts daran nutzt sich ab.
Vier Motorräder, und das war ernst gemeint
Ducatis Behauptung war Marketing, und trotzdem konfigurieren die Fahrmodi das Motorrad tatsächlich neu, statt den Gasgriff nur abzumildern. Enduro senkt die Leistung auf hundert PS und ändert die ABS-Strategie vollständig, und auf einer Schotterpiste ist das eine wirklich andere Maschine als die, die eine Stunde zuvor auf der Autobahn war.
