Eingraviert statt unmarkiert
Das Markenzeichen des Herstellers ist in die Fläche geschnitten. Es ist der einzige Unterschied zur unmarkierten Version, und sie existiert, weil Besitzer unterschiedlicher Meinung sind, welche Ausführung sie bevorzugen.
Kurven-ABS als Serie
Die 939er-Generation erhielt eine Bosch-Inertialplattform mit schräglagenabhängiger Bremsregelung. Bei einem Tourenmotorrad auf unbekannten Straßen ist das deutlich mehr wert als bei einer Rennstreckenmaschine.
Zwei Jahre und dann nichts mehr
Ducati baute die Hyperstrada 939 nur kurz und stellte das Modell danach vollständig ein. Nichts im aktuellen Programm ersetzt sie, weshalb gebrauchte Exemplare schnell weggehen.
Nur die Gasgriffbaugruppe
Der Schalterblock bleibt erhalten. Dieses Teil deckt allein das Gehäuse ab, was die meisten Besitzer tatsächlich wollen, wenn die Schalterelektrik funktioniert.
Eine gefräste Bohrung
Geschnitten statt geformt, sodass das Rohr über die Laufleistung eines Tourenmotorrads konzentrisch bleibt. Diese Gleichmäßigkeit wirkt sich auch auf den Motor aus, nicht nur auf die Hand.
Schwarz eloxiert
In die Oberfläche umgewandelt. Salz, Regen und Schotter sind das, was ein Allwetter-Motorrad tatsächlich erlebt, und keine Beschichtung steht das so durch wie eine Eloxierung.
Aus dem Vollen gefräst
Ergal 7075 mit etwa der doppelten Festigkeit eines gewöhnlichen gefrästen Aluminiums. Bei einem beladenen Motorrad trägt der Lenker mehr, als es auf den ersten Blick scheint.
Sechzehn Liter
Ducati gab der Hyperstrada einen deutlich größeren Tank als der Hypermotard. Bei einem auf Reisen ausgelegten Motorrad ist das der Unterschied zwischen stündlichem und zweimal täglichem Tankstopp.
Eine Gravur, die bleibt
In die Eloxalschicht geschnitten statt darüber gedruckt, altert das Zeichen genauso wie der Rest des Bauteils. Nichts daran verblasst oder löst sich ab.
