Die letzte Hyperstrada
Ducati baute die 939er-Version zwei Modelljahre lang und ließ das Modell dann vollständig fallen. Nichts im aktuellen Sortiment leistet, was sie leistete, weshalb überlebende Exemplare selten zum Verkauf stehen.
Schlichte Fläche
Keine Herstellermarkierung auf der sichtbaren Oberfläche. Es ist die Version für einen Besitzer, der bessere Hardware möchte, ohne dass das Bauteil Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht.
Neunhundertsiebenunddreißig Kubikzentimeter
Der vergrößerte Testastretta-11-Grad-Motor, der Euro 4 mit mehr Drehmoment erfüllte, als die 821 aufbrachte. Ducati setzte diesen Motor anschließend in der halben Modellpalette ein.
Nur die Gasgriffeinheit
Dieses Teil lässt den Schalterblock an Ort und Stelle. Es betrifft das Gehäuse, was ein Besitzer benötigt, wenn die Schaltereinheit einwandfrei funktioniert.
Eine gefertigte Bohrung
Die Welle dreht sich in einer Bohrung, die geschnitten statt geformt ist, was das Gefühl des Gasgriffs über die Kilometer konstant hält, die ein Tourenmotorrad ansammelt.
Ein Finish
Schwarz eloxiert, in das Aluminium umgewandelt. Es überlebt Regen, Salz und Schotter deutlich besser als jede Beschichtung.
Aus dem Vollen gefertigt
Ergal 7075 mit etwa doppelter Festigkeit gegenüber gewöhnlichem Fräsaluminium. Bei einem mit Gepäck beladenen Motorrad trägt der Lenker mehr, als es den Anschein hat.
Ein größerer Tank
Ducati verbaute sechzehn statt der zwölfeinhalb Liter der Hypermotard. Bei einem Motorrad, das für echte Reisen gedacht ist, ist das der Unterschied zwischen einem Stopp pro Stunde und einem Stopp alle zwei Stunden.
Weicher, nicht weich
Das Fahrwerk der Hyperstrada ist auf Komfort und Zuladung statt auf Supermoto-Strapazen ausgelegt. Sie lenkt trotzdem wie eine Hypermotard, was der Hauptgrund ist, eine zu wollen.
