Ein Naked Bike braucht noch mehr
Breite Lenker, ein leichtes Vorderrad und hundertfünfundsiebzig PS. Aprilia montierte den Dämpfer, weil diese Kombination es erfordert, und nicht, weil er sich gut auf einer Liste gemacht hat.
Gesteuert, nicht fest eingestellt
Der Widerstand variiert mit der Geschwindigkeit und mit den Werten der Trägheitsplattform, weshalb sich das Motorrad im Schritttempo leicht und bei hoher Geschwindigkeit stabil fährt.
Der Aktuator wird überwacht
Wird bei jedem Start vom Fahrwerksmodul geprüft. Fehlt er, erscheint eine Warnung, die am Display bleibt, bis der Stromkreis beantwortet wird.
Die Last liefern
Dieses Bauteil liefert das, was das Modul erwartet, sodass die Prüfung erfolgreich verläuft und im Hintergrund nichts gespeichert wird.
Warum umrüsten
Ein manueller Dämpfer ist überholbar und reproduzierbar, und ein Fahrer, der an einer Rennstrecke arbeitet, möchte eine Einstellung, die sich nicht verändert. Das ist dasselbe Argument wie bei Gabel und Federbein.
Fahrtwind auf den Fahrer
Ohne Verkleidung ist der Fahrer die Aerodynamik, und die am Lenker ankommenden Kräfte sind deutlich höher als bei einem verkleideten Motorrad. Der Dämpfer arbeitet hier stärker.
Das Original aufbewahren
Das Serienbauteil ist teuer und findet leicht einen Käufer. Nichts an dieser Umrüstung beschädigt es.
Nichts wird durchtrennt
Der originale Steckverbinder von Aprilia, ohne Adapter und ohne irgendeine Spleißstelle.
Reversibel
Den Serien-Dämpfer wieder montieren, den Eliminator abstecken, und alles funktioniert wie zuvor.
Eine wohlüberlegte Entscheidung
Bei einer straßenzugelassenen Tuono lohnt es sich, den variablen Dämpfer zu behalten.
Lenker bewegen sich mehr als Stummellenker
Ein breiter Lenker gibt dem Fahrer erheblichen Hebelweg über das Vorderrad, und das Vorderrad gibt denselben Hebelweg zurück. Alles, was den Lenkkopf bei einem Naked Bike erreicht, kommt mit mehr Kraft an als bei einem verkleideten Motorrad.
