Die Ducati Panigale 1199 Superquadro gehört zu den thermisch anspruchsvollsten V2-Superbikes, die je gebaut wurden. Wird sie an einem heißen Trackday oder auf einer ambitionierten Sommerausfahrt konsequent gefordert, wird das serienmäßige Kühlsystem zum limitierenden Faktor – nicht Ihr fahrerisches Können, nicht Ihre Reifen. Das H2O Performance Wasser- und Ölkühler-Kit ist die endgültige Lösung: eine zweckgerichtet konstruierte Kombination aus übergroßem Wasserkühler und hocheffizientem Ölkühler, die der 1199-Plattform über alle Varianten und Modelljahre von 2012 bis 2017 hinweg echte thermische Stabilität verleiht.

Warum die 1199 dieses Upgrade braucht
Die 1199 Panigale von Ducati erzeugt aus ihrem kompakten Superquadro-V2 außergewöhnliche Leistung – und diese Leistung erzeugt entsprechend viel Wärme. Auf der geschlossenen Strecke oder im dichten Sommerverkehr steigen die Kühlmitteltemperaturen schnell an, die Ölviskosität sinkt, und moderne Motorsteuerungen beginnen, Zündzeitpunkt und Leistung zurückzunehmen, um den Motor zu schützen. Fahrer spüren das als weichere Gasannahme, nachlassenden Durchzug im oberen Drehzahlbereich und eine allgemeine Trägheit, die der Session ihre Schärfe nimmt.
Das H2O Performance Kit setzt genau an dieser Stelle an. Der vergrößerte Wasserkühler gibt Wärme schneller ab, als es die Serieneinheit je könnte, während der eigene Ölkühler die Öltemperatur durch lange Kurven und aufeinanderfolgende schnelle Runden hinweg stabilisiert. Gemeinsam schaffen sie einen thermischen Puffer, der dem Superquadro den Spielraum gibt, den er braucht, um von der ersten bis zur letzten Runde konstant zu performen.
Auf der Straße
Auch abseits der Rennstrecke sind die Vorteile sofort spürbar. Pendeln bei warmem Wetter, Filtern durch den Verkehr oder Passfahrten im Sommer – Situationen, in denen die 1199 unangenehm werden kann – verändern sich spürbar. Der Motor läuft ruhiger, das Gasannahmeverhalten wirkt linearer, und die Hitze, die bei serienmäßigen Maschinen ins Cockpit abstrahlt, wird spürbar reduziert.
Auf der Rennstrecke
Für Trackday-Fahrer und Klubsportler nimmt das Kit das Temperaturmanagement praktisch von der Liste der Session-Variablen. Rundenzeiten bleiben konstant, die Leistungsabgabe bleibt berechenbar, und der Superquadro-Motor wird von den Steuergerät-Eingriffen befreit, die bei steigenden Temperaturen die Leistung beschneiden. Komplette Sessions ohne hitzebedingte Einbußen sind selbst auf Strecken mit langen, anhaltenden Vollgasphasen möglich.
