Ein großer Vierzylinder mit Vollverkleidung und einem fünfzehn Jahre alten Lenker ist ein Motorrad, dessen Spiegel meist schon einiges mitgemacht haben. Verkleidungsspiegel gehen auf Parkplätzen zu Bruch, und Ersatz ist modellspezifisch und wird immer knapper.

Wenn es den Verkleidungsspiegel nicht mehr gibt
Ein Lenkerendenspiegel umgeht das Beschaffungsproblem vollständig, weil er an den Lenker passt und nicht an die Verkleidung. Bei einem ausgelaufenen Modell ist das der Unterschied zwischen einer Reparatur und einer Suche.

Die Klemmung spreizt sich in Innendurchmessern von 13 bis 18 Millimetern. Der Spiegel ist auf ein Maß ausgelegt statt auf eine Teilenummer, und deshalb ist er noch lieferbar, wenn das Original es nicht mehr ist.

Straßenzulassung
In Europa nach UN-Regelung Nr. 81 als E1*81R00/02*0143 typgenehmigt. Die Genehmigung erfasst den Spiegel als Rückspiegel für zwei- und dreirädrige Fahrzeuge, deshalb darf er ohne weitere Formalitäten an einem zugelassenen Motorrad montiert werden.
Lieferumfang
Geliefert wird ein Spiegel. Er ist symmetrisch, deshalb passt dasselbe Teil auf beide Seiten des Lenkers – einen bestellen, um einen einzelnen Spiegel zu ersetzen, oder zwei für ein Paar.
