Manche Lenker halten ihre Endgewichte mit einem Gewinde statt mit einem Spreizkeil. In diesem Fall findet eine Spreizklemmung keinen Halt, und der Spiegel muss stattdessen eingeschraubt werden. Dies ist die M12-Ausführung für genau diesen Fall.

Die Version mit Gewinde
Sie deckt das frühere Modell ab, bei dem das Lenkerende ein Innengewinde hat, statt offen zu sein. Die Last trägt eine Schraubverbindung statt Reibung, eine andere und sehr sichere Art der Befestigung.

Das vorhandene Gewicht ausbauen und nachsehen, was es gehalten hat. Eine in den Lenker eingeschraubte Schraube bedeutet diese Version; ein Keil, der sich im Rohr aufgespreizt hat, bedeutet die Version mit Klemmung.

Homologiert als E1*81R00/02*0143 nach UN-Regelung Nr. 81. Das E-Prüfzeichen sitzt auf dem Spiegel selbst, und genau darauf achtet ein Prüfer, nicht auf eine Bescheinigung im Gepäck.
