Die MT-07 Pure behält den CP2-Twin und das leichte Handling der MT-07-Baureihe. Der Gilles Shiftholder für die Yamaha MT-07 Pure der Jahre 2023 bis 2025 ist ein kleines Upgrade für den Gangwechsel: Er stützt die Schaltwelle außerhalb des Motors ab und macht jeden Schaltvorgang exakter.

Straffere Gangwechsel
Die Schaltwelle ist nur im Inneren des Motors gelagert. Ihr äußeres Ende kann nachgeben, wenn der Hebel kräftig betätigt wird, und der Gangwechsel fühlt sich dann weich an. Ein zweiter Stützpunkt beseitigt diese Nachgiebigkeit.
Ein Upgrade, das zu einem einfachen Motorrad passt
Bei der Pure geht es um unkompliziertes Fahren. Der Shiftholder passt zu dieser Idee: Er ist eine rein mechanische Verbesserung ohne Elektronik und ohne Einstellungen, und einmal montiert, sorgt er einfach bei jeder Fahrt für ein besseres Schaltgefühl.
Straßenzulassung
Eine Eintragung ist nicht erforderlich. Der Shiftholder verändert weder die Lage eines Bedienelements noch ein anderes genehmigtes Merkmal der Yamaha MT-07 PURE; er stützt lediglich die Schaltwelle dort ab, wo sie aus dem Motor austritt. In die Fahrzeugpapiere muss nichts eingetragen werden, und eine Abnahme ist nicht erforderlich.
