Die Tuono V4 1100 Factory der Jahre 2015 bis 2020 gehört zu den schnellsten Naked Bikes auf der Rennstrecke, mit einem kräftigen V4, der am Ausgang jeder Kurve hart geschaltet wird. Der Gilles Shiftholder für die Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory stützt die Schaltwelle ab, damit diese Schaltvorgänge sauber einrasten.

Aus der Kurve, einen Gang höher
Beim Beschleunigen aus einer Kurve schaltet der Fahrer hoch, während der Motor noch kräftig zieht. Eine Schaltwelle, die nachgibt, kann genau in diesem Moment die Bewegung der Schaltwalze verzögern. Mit einer zweiten Abstützung außerhalb des Motors bleibt der Gangwechsel exakt.
Gleichmäßig über den ganzen Turn
Auf der Rennstrecke wechselt der Fahrer in einem Turn Hunderte Male den Gang. Fühlt sich der Hebel von Schaltvorgang zu Schaltvorgang anders an, leidet das Vertrauen. Ist die Welle an ihrem äußeren Ende abgestützt, bleiben Weg und Widerstand des Hebels gleich, was das Schalten allein nach Gefühl erleichtert.
Straßenzulassung
Eine Eintragung ist nicht erforderlich. Der Shiftholder verändert weder die Lage eines Bedienelements noch ein anderes genehmigtes Merkmal der Aprilia TUONO V4 1100 FACTORY; er stützt lediglich die Schaltwelle dort ab, wo sie aus dem Motor austritt. In die Fahrzeugpapiere muss nichts eingetragen werden, und eine Abnahme ist nicht erforderlich.
