Beim Kauf einer gebrauchten Dorsoduro 1200 ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit recht hoch, dass die Lenkerenden von einem früheren Rutscher erzählen: abgeflachte Kanten, blankes Metall, ein Kratzer quer über das Logo. Sie zu ersetzen ist der schnellste Weg, damit sich das Motorrad wie das eigene anfühlt. Die IP-Gewichte von Gilles sind ein kurzer, geschlossener Zylinder, 24 mm lang, in Schwarz, Gold oder Rot.

Straßenzulassung
Gilles führt diese Lenkerendengewichte an der Aprilia DORSODURO 1200 als eintragungsfrei: keine Abnahme und keine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere. Was sie allerdings brauchen, ist ein fester Sitz im Lenker, deshalb nach der ersten Fahrt noch einmal prüfen.

Montage
Die originalen Lenkerendengewichte abnehmen, den Lenker innen reinigen und das Spreizelement aus dem Gilles-Kit einsetzen, das zu seinem Innendurchmesser passt. Festziehen, bis das Gewicht fest sitzt, dann prüfen, ob sich der Gasgriff weiterhin frei dreht und zurückschnappt.
