Eine Multistrada V2 ist hoch, und hohe Motorräder werden danach beurteilt, wie sie sich im Schritttempo mit Sozius verhalten. Dieses Urteil fällt fast ausschließlich mit der linken Hand.

Was es ist
Ein aus massivem Aluminium gefräster Kupplungshebel, schwarz eloxiert, mit phosphatierter Lagerbohrung. Spielfrei, und genau das hält den Schleifpunkt dort, wo man ihn eingestellt hat, statt ihn im Lauf einer Tourensaison wandern zu lassen.
Zu zweit im Schritttempo
Mit Sozius ist das Motorrad schwerer und lässt sich weniger bereitwillig korrigieren, sobald es sich neigt. Langsame Manöver hängen dann davon ab, die Kupplung an einem exakten Punkt zu halten, und dieses Halten ermüdet, wenn die Hand dafür geöffnet bleiben muss.
Beladen einstellen, nicht leer
Die Griffweite bei laufendem Motor und eingelegtem Gang einstellen, idealerweise in dem Zustand, in dem das Motorrad tatsächlich gefahren wird. Der Punkt, den man an einem unbeladenen Motorrad auf dem Ständer spürt, ist nicht der, den man beim Anfahren mit Gepäck bekommt.
Straßenzulassung
In Deutschland straßenzugelassen mit ABE Nr. KBA 91203, die sich hier herunterladen lässt. Weder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere noch eine gesonderte Abnahme ist erforderlich.
Lieferumfang
Ein einzelner schwarzer Kupplungshebel für die Multistrada V2. Die Betätigung des Kupplungsschalters wird vom Originalhebel übernommen.
