Typ M5
Gilles führt die Gewichte für die Monster 1100 vom Typ M5. An einer klassischen Ducati ist Rot die naheliegende Wahl, Schwarz die zurückhaltende. Die geschlossene Kappe verdeckt den Schraubenkopf, so bleibt das Lenkerende aufgeräumt.
Straßenzulassung
Laut Gilles ist für die Gewichte an der Ducati MONSTER 1100 keine Genehmigung nötig. In die Papiere wird nichts eingetragen; Voraussetzung sind ein fester Sitz im Lenker und ein Gasgriff, der weiterhin von selbst zurückschnappt.

Montage
Die originalen Lenkerendengewichte abnehmen, den Lenker innen reinigen und das Spreizelement aus dem Gilles-Kit einsetzen, das zu seinem Innendurchmesser passt. Anziehen, bis das Gewicht fest sitzt, dann prüfen, ob sich der Gasgriff weiterhin frei dreht und zurückschnappt.
