Die MT-09 Tracer machte aus dem ersten CP3-Dreizylinder einen Sporttourer mit Verkleidung, verstellbarer Scheibe und Handprotektoren. Der Gilles-Kettenspanner AXB-RN29 für die Yamaha MT-09 Tracer der Jahre 2014 bis 2017 stellt die Hinterachse mit einer Spezialschraube und einer präzisen Skala ein.

Straßenzulassung
Laut Gilles ist für diesen Kettenspanner an der Yamaha MT-09 TRACER keine Genehmigung erforderlich. Es muss nichts abgenommen oder in die Papiere eingetragen werden; den Kettenspanner wie in der Anleitung beschrieben montieren und vor der Fahrt den Kettendurchhang prüfen.

Montage
Die Kettenspanner wie in der Anleitung von Gilles beschrieben montieren. Beim Einstellen der Kette die Skalenwerte links und rechts vergleichen: Gleiche Werte halten das Rad in der Flucht. Die Achse mit dem vorgeschriebenen Anzugsmoment anziehen und die Kette nach einigen Kilometern erneut prüfen.
