Die R1M ist die am stärksten auf die Rennstrecke ausgerichtete R1, mit elektronischem Öhlins-Fahrwerk und Carbon-Verkleidung, und manche Exemplare werden zu Rennmotorrädern umgebaut. Dafür passt diese AS31GT3-Renn-Rastenanlage an die Yamaha R1M der Baujahre 2015 bis 2022. Für die Straße ist sie nicht zugelassen.

Wenn die R1M zum Rennmotorrad wird
Sind Lichter und Spiegel erst einmal abgebaut, ist die Fahrposition als Nächstes an der Reihe. Die Rasten dieser Anlage sitzen 20 bis 30 mm höher als serienmäßig und bis zu 26 mm weiter hinten, was die Schräglagenfreiheit und die geduckte Haltung bringt, die ein Rennmotorrad braucht.
Auf Sturzreparaturen ausgelegt
Jedes Bauteil der Anlage lässt sich einzeln bestellen, von der Raste bis zum Hebel. An einem Rennmotorrad heißt das: Ein verbogenes Teil wird in der Box ersetzt, statt ein komplett neues Set zu kaufen.
Straßenzulassung
Gilles baut diese Ausführung ausschließlich für die Rennstrecke. Sie hat keine Straßenzulassung in Deutschland, und der Anbau an eine Yamaha R1M, die im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr gefahren wird, würde die Betriebserlaubnis erlöschen lassen. Für ein zugelassenes Motorrad stattdessen eine Anlage mit ABE oder Teilegutachten wählen.
Lieferumfang
Geliefert wird die komplette Anlage für beide Seiten, also Adapterplatten, Rastenträger mit Fußrasten, Fußbremshebel und Schalthebel mit Gestänge. Die Montageanleitung gehört zum Set.
