Die Zündschlossabdeckung ist das kleine Teil, das den Zündschalter auf der oberen Gabelbrücke einfasst, zwischen Lenker und Tank. Sie liegt an jeder Ampel direkt im Blickfeld.

Die Fläche, die Ihre Schlüssel täglich angreifen
Ein Schlüsselbund schlägt bei jedem Starten und jedem Abstellen gegen diese Fläche. Am Original zeigt sich das nach ein, zwei Saisons als Kranz feiner Kratzer, und keine Politur bekommt ihn weg, weil die Spuren im Kunststoff selbst sitzen.
Eine klarlackierte Carbon-Einfassung hebelt die Physik nicht aus, aber sie startet von einer härteren Oberfläche und behält ihre Tiefe deutlich länger. An einem Teil, auf das man öfter schaut als auf jedes andere Zierteil am Motorrad, ist das das ganze Argument.
Wer den Zustand erhalten will, hängt den Bund an einen kurzen Karabiner statt direkt an den Schlüssel. Das nimmt dem Schlagen den Hebel und kostet nichts.

Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Es ist eine Einfassung um ein unverändertes Schloss und berührt nichts Geregeltes, ein Dokument dazu gibt es nicht.
Montage
Zehn Minuten. Die alte Einfassung vorsichtig abnehmen statt abhebeln: Die Clips darunter werden weiterverwendet, und ein gebrochener bedeutet, dass die neue Abdeckung an einer Ecke absteht.
