Dies ist die Abdeckung – und für die meisten Besitzer die vernünftige Hälfte dieses Paares: dasselbe optische Ergebnis an allen sichtbaren Flächen, zu etwa einem Zehntel des Preises und ohne jede Zulassungsfrage.

Abdeckung oder vollständiger Tank
Der vollständige Tank spart Gewicht und ist ein echtes Konstruktionsbauteil. Die Abdeckung verändert, wie das Motorrad aussieht, und sonst nichts. Beide stammen vom selben Hersteller aus demselben Material, und der Unterschied zwischen ihnen misst sich in Kilogramm und in Tausenden von Euro.
Für ein Straßenmotorrad ist die Abdeckung fast immer die richtige Wahl, weil sie den Originaltank an seinem Platz lässt und damit die Zulassungslage des Fahrzeugs genau so, wie das Werk sie hinterlassen hat. Der vollständige Tank gehört an eine Maschine, an der Gewicht gezählt wird und die Regelfrage getrennt geklärt ist.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 2023-2024 sowie Panigale V4, V4 S und V4 R 2022-2024. Passt nicht an die Streetfighter V4 2020-2022 oder an die Maschinen ab 2025.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Es ist eine Abdeckung über dem Originaltank und kein kraftstoffführendes Bauteil – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung dennoch vor dem Straßeneinsatz.
Die Montage dauert einen Nachmittag, keine Werkstatt
Anders als beim vollständigen Tank kommt bei diesem Teil weder Kraftstoff noch Verkabelung noch Pumpe ins Spiel. Es ist ein Paneel an den Originalbefestigungen, und es liegt in Reichweite jedes Menschen, der schon einmal eine Sitzbank und ein paar Schrauben entfernt hat.
Sorgfalt braucht allein die Umrandung des Einfüllstutzens, wo die Abdeckung an den originalen Deckel stößt. Nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, diese Kante vor dem endgültigen Anziehen sauber zu setzen – es ist die eine Stelle, an der eine überhastete Montage bei jedem Tanken sichtbar ist.
