Was ein Tanktausch bedeutet
Die originale Pumpeneinheit, der Füllstandgeber und die Entlüftungsleitungen wandern mit – die Arbeit ist also sorgfältig, nicht kompliziert: Motorrad entleeren, alten Tank abheben, Innereien umbauen, montieren. Was sie nicht ist: ein Nachmittag zum Anschrauben. Wer das noch nie gemacht hat, gibt es in eine Werkstatt, und die Werkstatt erfährt vorher, worum es sich handelt.
Gewicht ist der Grund, warum Leute es tun. Ein Stahltank an einem Motorrad dieser Generation gehört zu den schwersten Posten oberhalb der Kurbelwelle, und er sitzt hoch. Das ist das Argument, und es ist ein echtes.
Passend für
BMW S1000R, Modelljahre 2013 bis 2020, an den Serienaufnahmen des Rahmens und mit der originalen Pumpeneinheit. Fullsix führt denselben Tank für die S1000RR der entsprechenden Jahre. Prüfen Sie die Teilenummern von Pumpe und Geber an Ihrer eigenen Maschine vor der Bestellung.

Leben mit Carbon über Kraftstoff
Moderne, für den Kraftstoffeinsatz gebaute Epoxidlaminate sind gegen Tankstellenbenzin stabil, aber die Handhabung zählt mehr als bei einem lackierten Stahltank. Verschütteter Kraftstoff will abgewischt und nicht auf dem Lack verdunstet werden, und Gurte über dem Tank wollen ein Tuch darunter.
