Kaum eine Modifikation definiert die solistische Racing-Attitüde einer Ducati Panigale so unmittelbar wie der Umbau ohne Sozius-Sitz mit einer zweckmäßigen Carbon-Sitzheckabdeckung. Fullsix — einer der angesehensten Namen in der italienischen Carbon-Verkleidungsfertigung — fertigt diese Sitzheckabdeckung aus 100 % echter Carbonfaser und liefert eine Gewebequalität und Oberflächentreue, die ebenso gut auf ein WorldSBK-Startgitter wie zu einem sonntäglichen Trackday passt. Erhältlich in drei Oberflächen und zwei Webmustern, ist dies ein OEM-Ersatzteil, das das Heck der 1199 in wenigen Minuten verwandelt — ganz ohne Schneiden oder Bohren.

Design, Oberfläche und Tradition
Fullsix hat sich seinen Ruf durch die Belieferung von MotoGP- und Superbike-Teams mit Carbon-Komponenten erarbeitet, bevor dieselbe Fertigungsdisziplin auf straßentaugliche Ducatis übertragen wurde. Jedes Teil verlässt das Werk mit derselben Laminierdisziplin und Harzkontrolle, die bei Wettbewerbs-Karosserieteilen zum Einsatz kommt. Die Sitzheckabdeckung für die Panigale 1199 bildet da keine Ausnahme: Das Carbongewebe wird in einer Form laminiert, die direkt aus der OEM-Geometrie abgeleitet wurde, sodass Spaltmaße, Befestigungspunkte und Oberflächenkonturen von einer Werksmontage nicht zu unterscheiden sind.
Das 200-Plain-Gewebe — ein enges, gleichmäßiges Schachbrettmuster — reproduziert exakt die optische Signatur der werkseigenen Carbon-Zubehörteile von Ducati und ist damit die natürliche Wahl für eine stimmige, markenkonsistente Optik. Das 245-Twill-Gewebe liefert ein diagonales, ineinandergreifendes Geflecht, das das Licht aus jedem Blickwinkel unterschiedlich bricht und dem Heck eine fast juwelenhafte Tiefe verleiht. Beide Webmuster sind mit Glänzend- oder Matt-Lackierung erhältlich; die Roh-Variante verzichtet vollständig auf einen Klarlack und lässt das offene Gewebe bereit für den Lackierer oder Folierungsspezialisten, der dem Aufbau eine individuelle Richtung geben möchte.

Über die Optik hinaus ergibt der Umbau ohne Sozius-Sitz mit Carbon-Abdeckung eine messbare Reduzierung der ungefederten und der Gesamtmasse. Die inhärente Steifigkeit des Materials sorgt dafür, dass die Abdeckung bei hoher Geschwindigkeit nicht flext oder vibriert, wodurch Lackspannungen und Mikrorisse vermieden werden, die günstigere Composite-Imitate mit der Zeit befallen können.
