Eine Sitzabdeckung tritt an die Stelle des Soziuspolsters und macht aus einem zweisitzigen Superbike für die Dauer der Montage einen Einsitzer. An der S1000RR von 2015 bis 2018 ist das eine größere optische Veränderung als an den meisten Maschinen, weil das Soziuspolster das einzige weiche, gepolsterte Element in einem sonst hartkantigen Heck ist.

Reversibel, und das ist das ganze Argument
Nichts wird geschnitten und nichts weggeworfen. Das Soziuspolster kommt ab und in den Schrank, die Abdeckung kommt drauf. Das Motorrad ist in der Zeit wieder serienmäßig, die man braucht, um den Sitzschlüssel zu finden – deshalb ist dies ein besserer erster Carbonkauf als irgendetwas Tragendes.
Es heißt außerdem, dass das Teil einen Sinneswandel und einen Besitzerwechsel übersteht. Von sehr wenigem in diesem Katalog lässt sich das sagen.
Passend für
BMW S1000RR, Modelljahre 2015 bis 2018, mit dem serienmäßigen Sitzschloss. Die Maschinen 2019-2022 und 2023-2026 nehmen andere Abdeckungen; die Fassung ab 2023 schließt das Heckrahmenteil ein.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Das Abdecken des Soziussitzes kann beeinflussen, wofür das Fahrzeug zugelassen ist – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung vor dem Straßeneinsatz.
Gewebewahl an einem kleinen gewölbten Paneel
Dies ist einer der wenigen BMW-Artikel, die es in beiden Geweben gibt. An einem Paneel dieser Größe und Wölbung hält Plain sein Muster gleichmäßiger über die Form, während Twill mehr Tiefe zeigt und dort, wo die Fläche sich dreht, etwas mehr Verzug.
Keines ist falsch. Plain ist die Wahl für ein Motorrad, dessen übriges Carbon Plain ist; Twill passt zum restlichen BMW-Programm von Fullsix. Roh in Twill ist die günstigste Kombination und die robusteste gegen die Hände, die unweigerlich darauf liegen werden.
