Kleine Teile an einem Motorrad mit wenigen Teilen
Eine Hypermotard trägt weniger Verkleidung als fast alles andere, was Ducati baut, und das verändert die Rechnung eines Carbonaufbaus. An einer vollverkleideten Maschine würde ein Teil dieser Größe verschwinden. Hier ist es eines von nur vier verfügbaren, und das gesamte Äußere besteht aus vielleicht sechs Stücken.
Das gehört gewusst, bevor man sie als Zierrat abtut. Anteilig zählen sie an diesem Motorrad mehr, als ihre Abmessungen vermuten lassen.
Gewebe über einen Aufbau hinweg abstimmen
Wenn die Tankabdeckung bereits montiert oder geplant ist, beide in derselben Oberfläche und möglichst gleichzeitig bestellen. Handgelegtes Carbon schwankt zwischen Fertigungsreihen leicht, und diese Teile sitzen unmittelbar unter dem Tank, wo ein Unterschied direkt nebeneinander läge. Bei der Bestellung danach zu fragen kostet nichts.

Montage
Originaltüllen übernehmen, die Zapfen vor jeder Schraube einsetzen und aufhören zu drehen, sobald sich das Teil nicht mehr bewegt. Die Gewinde greifen in Kunststoff, und das verzeiht kein zweites Nachziehen mit Gefühl aus dem Handgelenk.
