Die Lücke im Gitterrohr schließen
Ducati lässt diesen Bereich teilweise offen, und was durchscheint, sind Kabel, die Kante des Luftfilterkastens und was sonst unter der Sitzbank wohnt. Die Serieneinsätze räumen das in Kunststoff auf; diese tun dasselbe in Laminat und sitzen genau dort, wo die Ferse beim Absteigen vorbeigeht.
Schutz ebenso wie Zierde
Stiefel erreichen diesen Rahmenabschnitt ständig, und die Pulverbeschichtung darunter erholt sich von Scheuerstellen nicht. Wer früh abdeckt, hält den Rahmen für den späteren Verkauf ansehnlich, und bei einem so häufig gehandelten Modell ist das mehr wert als der Satz kostet.
