Eine geschlossene Scheibe über dem Hinterrad, an einem Motorrad, bei dem es nie um Aerodynamik ging. Die Hypermotard ist eine Supermoto mit Beleuchtung: hoch, schmal, aufrecht, und so bewegt, wie es mit den Luftwiderstandswerten, für die dieses Teil gezeichnet wurde, nichts zu tun hat. Das gehört klar gesagt, bevor jemand sie in der Erwartung von Geschwindigkeit kauft.

An dieser Maschine ist es Optik
Fullsix hat die Abdeckung für Maschinen entwickelt, die Zeit bei hohem Dauertempo verbringen, wo das Schließen einer drehenden Radfläche etwas Messbares einbringt. Eine Hypermotard lebt dort nicht. Was sie stattdessen tut: auffallen. Eine massive dunkle Scheibe, wo eine Supermoto sonst offene Speichen zeigt, ist ein ungewohnter Anblick und wirkt gewollt.
Wer sie aus diesem Grund kauft, kauft das Richtige. Wer sie für die Höchstgeschwindigkeit eines 937er Zweizylinders mit Scheunentor-Sitzposition kauft, nicht.
Erst das Rad, dann das Modell
Die Abdeckung ist für das originale Ducati-Hinterrad geschnitten. Eine Hypermotard ist ein Motorrad, an dem umgebaut wird, und eine andere Felge oder ein anderes Speichenbild nimmt sie nicht an. Auf das Rad an der Maschine sehen, nicht auf den Namen am Tank.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Ducati Hypermotard 939, 2016 bis 2018, mit dem originalen Hinterrad. Dieselbe Abdeckung ist für die Hypermotard 821 und eine lange Reihe weiterer Ducati gelistet.
Straßenzulassung
Fullsix dokumentiert keine Straßenzulassung. Die Abdeckung sitzt an einem drehenden Bauteil; Passung und Wuchtung vor der Fahrt in einer Werkstatt prüfen lassen.
