Carbon gegen Aluminium, ehrlich verglichen
Carbon ist leichter und deutlich glatter. Eine Maschine, die über eine Felskante gezogen wird, rutscht dort, wo eine Aluminiumplatte greifen würde, und an einem langen Hard-Enduro-Tag spürt man die Gewichtsersparnis weit unten bei jedem Aufheben neu.
Der Unterschied liegt darin, wie beide versagen. Aluminium verformt sich und arbeitet weiter. Carbon ist erheblich steifer, biegt sich aber nicht, und ein punktueller Schlag aus echter Höhe kann es reißen lassen. Wer seine Wochenenden damit verbringt, auf Felsen zu landen, fährt mit Metall besser. Für alles darunter ist Carbon die bessere Platte.
Warum es roh ist
Eine klarlackierte Ausführung gibt es nicht, und das ist richtig so. Klarlack auf einem Bauteil, das zum Schleifen gebaut ist, sähe nach einer Saison ruiniert aus. Rohes Laminat nutzt sich einfach ab, und daran ist nichts zu reparieren und nichts zu beschönigen.

Straßenzulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Typgenehmigung aus.
