Die Kupplungsseite eines V4 ist die breiteste Stelle des Motors und das Erste, was den Boden berührt, wenn das Motorrad umfällt. Ducati schützt das Gehäuse mit einer gespritzten Abdeckung; dieses Teil ersetzt sie durch ein ausgehärtetes Laminat gleicher Form, an denselben Aufnahmen, mit derselben Aufgabe und einer härteren Oberfläche.

Was es übersteht und was nicht
Dies ist eine Abdeckung und kein Sturzschutz, und der Unterschied ist wichtig. Bei einem langsamen Umfaller auf dem Parkplatz nimmt sie den Kratzer auf, der sonst am Gehäuse landen würde – das ist etwas wert. Bei einem Rutscher mit Straßentempo wird sie zerstört, und das gilt für jedes Teil dieser Form.
Wer echten Schutz will, montiert zusätzlich Sturzpads und betrachtet dieses Teil als das, was es ist: eine kosmetische und leicht schützende Abdeckung auf der exponiertesten Fläche des Motors.
Passend für
Ducati Streetfighter V4, Modelljahre 2020 bis 2022, an den originalen Aufnahmen. Die Überarbeitung 2023 hat diesen Bereich verändert, spätere Maschinen nehmen ein anderes Teil.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Das Motorgehäuse wird weder geöffnet noch verändert – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung dennoch vor dem Straßeneinsatz.
Wärme, Öl und die Ausführung
Diese Abdeckung liegt direkt am wärmsten Teil des Motorrads und gelegentlich im Weg eines Tropfens beim Ölwechsel. Lack kommt mit beidem gut zurecht, ist aber die Schicht, die irgendwann eine Marke zeigt, wo blankes Gewebe keine zeigen würde.
Roh hat damit das beste technische Argument und den niedrigsten Preis – eine ungewöhnliche Kombination. Matt ist die praktische Alternative. Klarlack sieht auf einem sauberen Motorrad hervorragend aus und ist die Wahl für eine Maschine, die nach jeder Fahrt abgewischt und nicht durch den Winter gefahren wird.
