Ein Teil mit Aufgabe, nicht mit Optik
Die Stelle, an der eine Kette auf ein Kettenrad trifft, zieht alles Weiche hinein und gibt es nicht wieder her. Eine Finne über dem Trum hält Stiefel, Handschuh und Hosenbein davon fern; deshalb suchen technische Abnahmen danach und deshalb schreiben mehrere Länder sie in ihre Bauvorschriften.
Zwei Schrauben, ein paar Minuten auf dem Heckständer, und danach eine Gewohnheit: nach jeder Kettenspannung hinsehen. Das Verschieben der Achse verändert alles um den Schutz herum, und einer, der Luft hatte, kann auf der Kette aufliegen.
Zu diesem Preis lohnt ein zweiter im Regal. Eine verbogene Finne richtet man nicht mehr, und ohne Kettenschutz kommt keine Maschine durch eine technische Abnahme.
Die Finne folgt der Schwinge eng genug, dass sie nur in einer Lage passt. Falsch herum geht sie nicht drauf.

Straßenzulassung
Fullsix dokumentiert keine Straßenzulassung. Das Teil tut, was ein Kettenschutz tun muss, trägt aber keine eigene Genehmigung.
