Eine flache Finne, die oben entlang der Kette läuft, zwischen dem Kettentrum und allem, was rechts davon ist. Es ist das günstigste Carbonteil, das Fullsix für die F3 baut, und eines von nur zweien auf der Liste, die aus einem Sicherheitsgrund existieren und nicht aus einem optischen.

Warum es ihn gibt
Eine Kette, die auf ein Kettenrad läuft, ist eine Scherstelle, und der Schutz hält Stiefel, Handschuh und Hosenbein davon fern. Technische Abnahmen an Rennstrecken suchen danach; mehrere Länder schreiben ihn an einem zugelassenen Motorrad vor. Keines von beidem ist ein Grund, ihn aus optischen Gründen wegzulassen.
Nach jeder Kettenspannung prüfen. Wer die Hinterachse verschiebt, ändert die Geometrie daneben, und ein Schutz, der frei war, kann an der Kette anliegen.
Zu diesem Preis lohnt es sich auch, einen zweiten im Regal zu haben. Eine verbogene Finne richtet man nicht mehr, und ein Motorrad ohne Kettenschutz kommt durch keine technische Abnahme.
Die Finne folgt der Schwinge eng genug, dass sie nur in einer Lage passt — falsch herum geht sie nicht drauf.
Passform und Kompatibilität
MV Agusta F3 675, 2012 bis 2021, mit der originalen Schwinge. Fullsix führt denselben Schutz für die F3 800 und die Brutale 800. Die Montage sind zwei Schrauben auf dem Heckständer.
Straßenzulassung
Vom Hersteller ist keine Straßenzulassung dokumentiert. Das Teil erfüllt die Funktion, die ein Kettenschutz erfüllen muss, trägt aber keine eigene Genehmigung.
