Aus 100 % echter Carbonfaser gewoben und in Ihrer Wahl von Finish und Webstruktur erhältlich, ersetzt er die serienmäßige Kunststoffabdeckung durch ein Teil, das leichter, verschleißfester und unverkennbar italienisch im Charakter ist.

Das Ergebnis ist ein Kettenschutz, der die optische Autorität eines echten Carbonteils trägt statt einer kosmetischen Nachbildung — das Gewebe ist eng, das Harz gleichmäßig und die Kanten sauber verarbeitet.
Vier Oberflächen-Finishes werden für die 200 Plain Struktur angeboten: Glänzend (MD-9912-C19), Matt (MD-9912-M19), Roh (MD-9912-R19) und Satin (MD-9912-S19). Die 245 Twill Struktur ist in Glänzend (MD-9912-TC19) erhältlich und bietet ein ausgeprägteres diagonales Webmuster, das das Licht anders einfängt und der Panigale eine deutlich sportlichere Note verleiht.
