Vor der Montage die Vorschriften lesen
Position, Neigung, Beleuchtung und Sichtbarkeit des Kennzeichens sind geregelt, und die Regeln unterscheiden sich von Land zu Land. Ein Halter, der in einem Markt einwandfrei ist, fällt im nächsten durch die Untersuchung. Das ist hier das eine Teil, bei dem ein Fehler mehr kostet als Geld.
Besonders prüfen, dass die Kennzeichenleuchte weiterhin funktioniert und das Schild auch wirklich ausleuchtet, und dass die Neigung im zulässigen Rahmen bleibt.
Warum ihn trotzdem viele montieren
Die serienmäßige Heckkonstruktion dieser Generation ist lang und optisch schwer und hängt unter einem Heck, das Ducati absichtlich kurz gezeichnet hat. Sie zu kürzen ist der häufigste Umbau an diesen Maschinen, und in Carbon auf den Werksaufnahmen ist das erheblich sauberer als die übliche Lösung aus Winkel und Kabelbinder.
Blinker mitbedenken
An der Serienkonstruktion hängen je nach Markt auch die hinteren Blinker. Vor dem Umbau klären, wohin die wandern, denn Abstand und Höhe der Blinker sind ebenso vorgeschrieben wie die Kennzeichenposition.

Straßenzulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Typgenehmigung aus. Für Sichtbarkeit und Beleuchtung des Kennzeichens bleibt der Halter verantwortlich.
