Warum der Abstand zählt
Ein Hitzeschutz wirkt über den Luftspalt zwischen sich und dem Topf. Die Halter sind keine Distanzstücke aus Bequemlichkeit, sie sind der Grund, warum die Außenfläche anfassbar bleibt, während der Schalldämpfer darunter es nicht ist.
Deshalb nutzt dieses Teil die Originalabstände, statt für eine straffere Optik näher heranzurücken. Ausgehärtetes Carbon ist bei den Temperaturen stabil, die ein Schutz im richtigen Abstand sieht – und wird mit jedem Millimeter näher unzufriedener.
Passend für
Ducati Multistrada 1200, Modelljahre 2015 bis 2017, mit originalem Endschalldämpfer. Zubehöranlagen bringen eigene Schutzbleche und eine eigene Geometrie mit.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Es ist ein Schutz über einer unveränderten Anlage und berührt weder Geräusch noch Abgas, ein Dokument dazu existiert nicht.
Montage
Immer am kalten Motor. Halter lose ansetzen, prüfen, ob der Spalt über die ganze Länge gleich ist, dann festziehen.
Ein ungleicher Spalt bedeutet, dass ein Ende heißer läuft, als das Laminat vorgesehen ist – und das zeigt sich als Verfärbung im Klarlack, lange bevor etwas anderes passiert.
