Das Teil, das man zuerst sieht
Ein Frontkotflügel steht bei abgestelltem Motorrad auf Augenhöhe und liegt beim Fahren direkt im Blick. Es ist das Verkleidungsteil, das vor allen anderen auffällt – und deshalb an einer Monster meistens das erste Carbonteil.
Das Gewebe läuft entlang der Rundung statt quer darüber, damit das Muster von der Seite gerade bleibt. Das entscheidet sich in der Form, nicht beim Lackieren, und es ist der Unterschied zwischen einem Carbonkotflügel und einem in Carbonoptik.
Passend für
Ducati Monster 1200, Modelljahre 2014 bis 2016, an den originalen Gabelaufnahmen. Das Facelift 2017 hat die Frontpartie geändert; für diese Jahre führt Fullsix andere Nummern. Baujahr vor der Bestellung prüfen.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Kotflügel unterliegen in mehreren Märkten Bauvorschriften – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung vor dem Straßeneinsatz.
Warum Autoklav gerade hier zählt
Ein Kotflügel federt bei Tempo ständig und nimmt Steinschlag frontal. Unter Druck und Hitze ausgehärtetes Laminat hat kaum Einschlüsse, und Einschlüsse sind die Stellen, an denen aus einem Schlag ein weiterlaufender Riss wird.
Das kostet mehr als ein im Vakuumsack gefertigtes Teil und lohnt sich genau an diesem Bauteil, das bei jedem Meter belastet wird und erst getauscht wird, wenn es kaputt ist.
