Fersenschützer sind die Platten hinter den Fahrerrasten, und sie sind die Teile eines Superbikes, die zuerst verschleißen, weil bei jeder Fahrt mehrfach ein Stiefel darauf landet. An der S1000RR sind die Originale Spritzguss, und an einer Maschine mit Streckeneinsatz sind sie vor Ende der ersten Saison gezeichnet.

Stiefel, nicht Wetter
Der Schaden, der dieses Teil erreicht, ist mechanisch und vollkommen vorhersehbar: Sohle und Absatz eines Motorradstiefels, an derselben Stelle, tausendfach. Ein ausgehärtetes Laminat ist härter als Spritzguss, Kontakt, der das Original zeichnen würde, hinterlässt hier also weniger.
Zeichnen wird es irgendwann trotzdem. Die ehrliche Zusage ist ein Teil, das länger gewollt aussieht – nicht eines, das neu bleibt.
Passend für
BMW S1000RR, Modelljahre 2019 bis 2026, an den serienmäßigen Rastenhaltern. Maschinen mit Zubehörrasten bringen üblicherweise eigene Fersenschützer mit und nehmen diese nicht auf.
Zulassung

Die eine Stelle, an der Roh klar gewinnt
Auf einer Fläche, die ein Stiefel berührt, ist der Lack die Schicht, die aufgibt. Ein Kratzer durch Klarlack steht hell auf dunklem Carbon und ist aus mehreren Metern zu sehen; derselbe Kratzer auf blankem Gewebe ist nahezu unsichtbar.
Roh ist damit zugleich die günstigste und die am längsten ordentlich aussehende Möglichkeit – eine seltene Kombination. Matt ist die Wahl, wenn der Rastenbereich fertig statt reduziert wirken soll. Klarlack lässt sich hier nur mit Angleichen begründen.
