Die technische Abnahme will etwas anderes
Eine kosmetische Abdeckung dieser Art ist nicht das, was die meisten Rennreglements unter Motorschutz verstehen. Serien, die ihn verlangen, schreiben eine echte Sekundärabdeckung aus definiertem Material vor, üblicherweise mit eigenen Schrauben unabhängig von den Originalgehäuseschrauben.
Dieser Artikel ist das nicht und sollte auch nicht so gekauft werden. Er ist die Fertigmotorrad-Fassung des Teils, passend an eine straßenzugelassene M oder eine Trackday-Maschine, und er ersetzt nicht, wonach ein technischer Abnehmer sucht.

Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Das Motorgehäuse wird weder geöffnet noch verändert – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung dennoch vor dem Straßeneinsatz.

Elektronik-, Lichtmaschinen- und Kupplungsabdeckung sitzen in einer Reihe am Motor, und sie sind die Teile, die im Fahrerlager bei abgenommener Verkleidung am meisten auffallen. Eine in Carbon und zwei in schwarzem Kunststoff zieht den Blick auf den Ausreißer statt auf das Material.
Es gibt keinen Rabatt für alle drei und keinen technischen Grund dafür. Es geht darum, wie das Motorrad ohne Verkleidung wirkt – und das ist bei einer M häufiger der Fall als bei allem anderen von BMW.
