Der kleinste Einstieg in Carbon an diesem Motorrad
Alles andere, was Fullsix für die R1 fertigt, ist eine deutlich teurere Bugverkleidung oder ein Paneelsatz. Das hier ist das eine Teil, das weniger kostet und trotzdem etwas verändert, das der Besitzer ständig sieht.
Es ist zugleich das Teil, bei dem die Ausführung an einem Streckenmotorrad am meisten zählt. Die Einfassung zeigt nach oben zum Fahrer, und an einem hellen Tag wirft eine glänzende Fläche den Himmel quer über das Display – genau dann, wenn die Zahlen gelesen werden müssen.

Yamaha YZF-R1M, Modelljahre 2020 bis 2026, mit dem originalen Instrument. Nicht für die Serien-R1.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für diesen Satz weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Zierrat um eine unveränderte Anzeige.
Montage
Kleine Schrauben, handfest. Die alten Abdeckungen abnehmen, ohne gegen die Displayfassung zu hebeln, und nach der Montage prüfen, dass keine Warnleuchtenöffnung teilweise verdeckt ist.
Am kalten Motorrad und bei ausgeschalteter Zündung arbeiten, und vor dem Schließen einen Blick auf das Display werfen. Die Anzeige der R1M ist informationsdicht, und eine an einer Ecke einen Millimeter abstehende Einfassung wirft bei tiefer Sonne einen Schatten über einen Teil davon.
