Die wenigsten V4 R behalten die Serienanlage
Das ist der ehrliche Grund, hier vorher nachzusehen. Ein Homologationsmodell, das für die Rennstrecke gekauft wurde, trägt meist binnen einer Saison eine Komplettanlage, und die Schale für einen Seriensammler passt nicht um eine Rennanlage. Mit der Lampe unter den Motor schauen, statt anzunehmen, dass noch drunter ist, was im Schauraum drunter war.
Ist die Anlage tatsächlich unverändert, ist dies das richtige Teil und mehr gibt es nicht zu bedenken. Beim Einsetzen abstützen; an zwei von vier Aufnahmen hängend bringt die Schale die Last an die falschen Stellen.
Nach den ersten Fahrten nachziehen. Eine neue Schale setzt sich, und die Aufnahmen einer Bugverkleidung arbeiten durch Fahrtwind und Motorschwingung mehr, als man ihnen ansieht.
Die originale Kunststoffschale aufheben. Geht die Maschine je auf die Serienanlage zurück oder an jemanden, der sie serienmäßig will, ist das Teil mehr wert als der Regalplatz.
