Sie schließt den Raum unter dem Motor, den Ducati am Serienmotorrad offen lässt, und lässt damit eine Maschine optisch tiefer wirken, die ohnehin um das Tiefsein herum gebaut ist.

Die Aushärtung ist das, wofür Sie zahlen
Bei einem Teil dieser Größe ist das Laminat der einfache Teil. Die Schwierigkeit liegt darin, ein großes, mehrfach gekrümmtes Paneel gleichmäßig auszuhärten, denn ungleichmäßige Aushärtung hinterlässt innere Spannung, und innere Spannung zeigt sich Monate später als Paneel, das an einer Ecke nicht mehr bündig sitzt. Autoklavhärtung bringt gleichmäßigen Druck und gleichmäßige Temperatur über die gesamte Fläche – das Teil, das aus der Form kommt, ist das Teil, das Sie drei Saisons später noch haben.
Es beeinflusst auch, wie das Gewebe wirkt. Über einen halben Quadratmeter ist eine gleichmäßige Harzverteilung das, was Carbon tief statt fleckig aussehen lässt – und bei diesem Preis ist das keine Nebensächlichkeit.
Gewebewahl am größten Paneel
Wenn Sie an einer XDiavel irgendwo Twill wählen wollen, dann an diesem Paneel. 245 Twill hat ein gröberes diagonales Muster, das über eine so große und so tief liegende Fläche noch aus mehreren Metern lesbar bleibt. 200 Plain ist die zurückhaltendere Variante und diejenige, die zu Ducatis eigenem Carbonzubehör passt; über eine Fläche dieser Größe wirkt es als Struktur statt als Muster.
Freigang zum Auspuff prüfen
Eine Bugverkleidung an einem Twin sitzt nah am Auspuffverlauf, und die XDiavel führt ihre Anlage tief. Das Paneel ist auf die Serienanlage hin geformt, an einem unveränderten Motorrad ist der Abstand also so, wie Fullsix ihn vorgesehen hat, und es gibt nichts zu bedenken.
Trägt das Motorrad eine Zubehöranlage, messen Sie vor dem Kauf. Verschiedene Hersteller führen Krümmer und Sammler unterschiedlich, und eine Verkleidung, die fünfzehn Millimeter von einem Serienrohr entfernt sitzt, kann bei etwas anderem fünf Millimeter entfernt sitzen. Fünfzehn ist in Ordnung, fünf ist ein Paneel, das sich verfärbt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
