Warum die Anlage die Form bestimmt
Den Schalldämpfer von neben dem Motor unter den Sitz zu verlegen gibt den Raum frei, um den die Serienverkleidung herumarbeiten muss, und ändert, was unter dem Motor durchläuft. Eine für die Serienanlage geschnittene Verkleidung hat eine Aussparung, wo diese Material hat, und keine von beiden nimmt die Führung der anderen auf.
Das ist ein kleiner Markt, und deshalb gibt es das Teil als eigene Nummer statt als Option. Trägt das Motorrad noch seine Originalanlage, ist das nicht das richtige Teil dafür.
Verkleidung, kein Motorschutz
Wie jede Bugverkleidung in diesem Programm schirmt sie die Unterseite gegen Spritzwasser und kleines Geröll ab. Sie ist kein Aufprallschutz und dafür auch nicht gebaut – an einem Straßenmotorrad selten eine Einschränkung, aber besser gesagt als angedeutet.

Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Die Anlage, um die es gebaut ist, hat ihre eigene Zulassungsfrage – und danach fragt ein Prüfer zuerst.
Montage
Kalte Anlage, Motorrad auf dem Ständer, jeder Halter angesetzt, bevor etwas festgezogen wird. Bei einer Untersitzanlage läuft der Krümmer näher an der Verkleidung vorbei als serienmäßig – diesen Abstand ausdrücklich prüfen.
