Was ein Bugspoiler wirklich tut
An einem Straßenmotorrad fängt er im Schadensfall Öl auf und hält Steine von der Ölwanne fern. Abtrieb erzeugt er bei erlaubten Geschwindigkeiten nicht, und den Luftwiderstand senkt er nicht so, dass ein Fahrer es merkt.
Der ehrliche Grund, warum die meisten einen montieren, ist die Optik: Er gibt dem Motorrad einen Boden und macht aus dem Gitterrohrrahmen eine Form statt einer Lücke. Das ist ein legitimer Grund und braucht keine Aerodynamik als Begründung.
