Kein Motorschutz
Das ist ein Verkleidungsteil, das den Unterboden schließt und Straßenschmutz ablenkt. Es ist keine Aluminiumwanne und trägt das Gewicht des Motorrads auf einem Stein nicht.
Sieht die Pikes Peak Schotterwege statt Asphaltpässe, ist eine Alu-Unterfahrsicherung das richtige Teil, und dieses hier ersetzt sie nicht. Das zu sagen kostet uns einen Verkauf und erspart eine Diskussion.

Ein Bugspoiler sammelt alles, was durch das Motorrad fällt: Kettenschleuder, Splitt, gelegentlich ein Blatt. Bleibt das liegen, hält es Feuchtigkeit an der Motorunterseite – das Gegenteil dessen, wofür er da ist.
Einmal im Jahr abnehmen, ausspülen und hineinsehen. Zehn Minuten, und man bekommt nebenbei einen Blick auf den Ölwannenbereich, den man sonst nie hat.
