Bremssattel-Kühler sind Luftführungen, die vor den vorderen Bremssätteln sitzen und den Fahrtwind auf sie lenken. Sie kommen aus Langstrecken- und Superbike-Rennsport, wo die Bremstemperatur über einen langen Stint entscheidet, ob der Hebel dort bleibt, wo der Fahrer ihn erwartet – und an Straßenmotorräder montieren sie vor allem Leute, die damit auf die Rennstrecke gehen.

An einem Straßenmotorrad, das auf der Straße bewegt wird, tritt Bremsfading vorn nicht auf. Die Sättel erreichen nie die Temperaturen, bei denen es relevant wird, und eine Kühlluftführung löst nichts, weil nichts kaputt ist.
Auf der Rennstrecke, in einem langen Turn, mit wiederholten harten Bremsungen aus hohem Tempo, ist das eine andere Frage. Für diesen Einsatz wurden sie entworfen, und nur dort lässt sich der Nutzen ehrlich behaupten. An ein Motorrad, das die Straße nie verlässt, sind sie eine Stilentscheidung – das ist in Ordnung, solange man es als solche versteht.
Passend für
Ducati Streetfighter V4 2020-2026 und die Panigale-V4-Reihe sowie jedes Motorrad, dessen radiale Vorderradsättel 100 mm Befestigungsabstand haben. Messen Sie den Abstand statt sich auf die Modellbezeichnung zu verlassen, wenn die Sättel getauscht wurden.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Bauteile an der Bremsanlage werden in den meisten Märkten streng behandelt – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung vor dem Straßeneinsatz und das Reglement vor einem Wettbewerbseinsatz.
Montage nahe an der Bremse
Diese Teile werden an den Sattelschrauben befestigt, und das sind mit die sicherheitskritischsten Verbindungen am Motorrad. Verwenden Sie das korrekte Drehmoment, verwenden Sie neue Schrauben, falls die Originale Dehnschrauben sind, und prüfen Sie den Abstand zu Scheibe und Rad über den vollen Federweg und den vollen Lenkeinschlag, bevor Sie losfahren.
Zur Ausführung: Roh ist die übliche und günstigste Wahl; an einem Teil, das in Bremsstaub lebt, gewinnt Lack nichts. Klarlack wählen Besitzer, die eine durchgängig glänzende Front angleichen.
