Die 698 Mono hat einen breiten flachen Lenker, ein kleines Instrument und darüber hinaus sehr wenig über der Gabel. Das ist ein bewusst karges Cockpit, und deshalb nehmen diese beiden Halter einen größeren Anteil dessen ein, worauf ein Fahrer schaut, als an einer Maschine mit Verkleidung und vollem Cockpit.
Es sind zugleich die Teile, die sonst niemand bemerkt. Alles andere aus dieser Reihe ist für die Leute gemacht, die neben dem Motorrad stehen; dieses hier für den, der darauf sitzt.
Die Hydraulik bleibt zu
Die Behälter bleiben an ihren Leitungen und das System bleibt dicht. Das ist wichtig, denn so bleibt es eine Arbeit von zwanzig Minuten mit Handwerkzeug statt eines Werkstattbesuchs mit anschließendem Entlüften. Nichts lösen, was Flüssigkeit hält, und es gibt auch keinen Grund dazu.

Fullsix weist für diesen Satz weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Typgenehmigung aus. An der Bremsanlage selbst wird nichts verändert.

Jeden Behälter beim Wechseln seines Halters abstützen, damit kein Gewicht an der Leitung hängt, und prüfen, dass beide bei vollem Lenkeinschlag frei stehen.
