Das Gegenteil des Kanals dahinter
Während der Ansaugkanal unsichtbar bleibt, gehören diese Abdeckungen zum Ersten, was jemand sieht. Sie liegen auf Augenhöhe für den, der neben dem Motorrad steht, sie fangen über ihre ganze Breite Licht, und sie sind der natürliche Anfang, wenn man ein sichtbares Carbonteil will statt eines kompletten Umbaus.
Hier sitzen an den meisten 950 außerdem die Modellgrafiken, und Grafiken sind das, was an einem Motorrad am schlechtesten altert. In Carbon ersetzt, ist damit auch ein Wartungsthema weg.
